"We normally don't see anything (counterfeit) smaller than a twenty dollar bill, but this has changed" said Joyner. "Lately, we've been seeing five and ten dollar bills."New printing methods are becoming available as advances in technology are made. Thus, allowing counterfeiters access to new methods and creating better counterfeit money.
"The quality of some bills are pretty good," said Joyner. "You could see why anyone would accept the bill."
Joyner feels there is a certain element of society that is trying to get ahead in the current state of the economy.
"The economy is bad right now and the criminal element is coming up with ingenious ways to get over on society and everyone needs to be vigilant."
Joyner said businesses should also train their employees to be more alert to spot the bills.
"It's very easy for a clerk to get busy and somebody will slip a counterfeit bill by them," said Joyner. "Usually they are not going to take the time to look and see if it is counterfeit."
Where can I find high quality writing (not printer) paper without a cheesy watermark?
I've been trying to find some very fine, high quality plain writing paper for letters, but all I seem to find is paper with the company's watermark printed on it as well. Can anyone help me find some places I may order some paper of this quality? Thank you.

What sort of software do I need to put a watermark on my paper work.?
I would like to put my own watermark, not the usual ones.
You don't need any specialist software. You can design whatever watermark you want in any program that you already have and if it is a picture or other object, rather than text, insert into your document as a jpeg and simply put it behind the text, making sure the colouring is faint enough for the text to be clear even though watermark is on background layer.
Is there copy paper with the word copyright used as a watermark?
I have some of my work copyrighted. I would like to print my work out on paper that has the word Copyright as a Watermark in the back ground.
I am not aware of any paper of this nature, however I may suggest that you set type saying "© Your Name" and turn it into a15-20% screen. You can then place this on your page, behind the type or whatever you are publishing.
Graphic Designers often use this as a method of protecting artwork when giving proofs to clients. A screen of the word PROOF is placed right over the artwork.
This simple screen will then show up on the page if anyone tries to copy it, and will be denied to be printed by any reputable copy or print establishment.

A true watermark is not made with ink; it's embedded in the fiber of the paper during the manufacturing process.
You can create a watermark effect and print it on the front of your paper, but that's not the same thing.
